Before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Khan built an extensive background in opticianry, becoming licensed in both North Carolina and Florida. His early career included roles in high-volume optical settings where he developed expertise in eyewear design, lens technology, and patient education. This dual perspective allows him to bridge the gap between medical eye care and visual performance, ensuring each patient receives both precise diagnoses and practical solutions.

Dr. Khan completed diverse clinical externships, including training with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, community health centers, and specialty care environments such as Perkins School for the Blind.
